Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no accounts. The only data leaving your browser goes to Google Fonts, and to the newsletter provider if you choose to subscribe. Everything below explains that in detail.

Who is responsible
Tips-Freelancing is run by Suman, an independent freelancer, not a company. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to contact@tips-freelancing.com and I will answer it myself.
What the site collects: nothing
There is no account system, no login, no comment section and no user profiles. The site is a set of static pages. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage, and does not run analytics, advertising pixels or session recording of any kind.
That is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly: if you read a guide here and leave, no record of your visit exists on anything I control.
Your web host's server logs
Like every website, requests reach a server before they reach you. Web hosts routinely keep short-term access logs containing your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user agent and the page you arrived from. These are generated by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, are not used to build any profile of you, and are not combined with anything else.
Google Fonts
The site loads two typefaces from Google's font service (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and user agent, as it does for any resource loaded from its servers. Google states it does not use these requests to build advertising profiles, but the request does happen and you should know about it.
If that concerns you, a browser extension that blocks third-party requests, or a privacy-focused browser, will stop it — the site remains fully readable and simply falls back to a system typeface.
The newsletter
The signup form does not currently send anywhere. When it is connected to an email provider, that provider will store the address you give and a record of which emails you opened, which is how every mailing list works. At that point this page will be updated to name the provider before any address is collected.
If you do subscribe later: your address will be used only to send the newsletter, never sold, never rented, never passed to a third party for marketing, and every email will carry a one-click unsubscribe.
The search box
The search on this site runs entirely in your browser. The index of guides is embedded in the page itself, so what you type is never sent to a server — not to me, not to anyone. You can confirm this by searching with your network connection off.
Share buttons
The share buttons are ordinary links to X, LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp and Reddit. They are not the official social widgets, which load tracking scripts and report your visit whether or not you click. Nothing is sent to those companies unless you actually click a button, at which point their own privacy policy applies.
Affiliate links
Some links to tools and platforms are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, that company may set a cookie on their site to credit the referral, and may pay a commission. That cookie belongs to them, is governed by their privacy policy, and is set only when you follow the link. No affiliate tracking runs on this site itself. This is also covered in the disclaimer.
Links to other sites
Outbound links go to sites I do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy stops at the edge of this domain.
Children
This site is written for adults choosing a way to work. It is not directed at children, and no data is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected here, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have written to me by email, or subscribed to the newsletter once it is live, you can ask at any time what I hold, ask for a copy, or ask me to delete it — and I will do so. Depending on where you live, the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA may give you those rights formally; you are welcome to them regardless of where you live.

Changes to this policy
If the site starts collecting anything — analytics, a newsletter provider, comments — this page will be updated before that happens, and the date at the top will change. I will not quietly add tracking and update the policy afterwards.
