Accuracy
Every factual claim is sourced from published research, platform documentation, or the direct my own experience in that discipline. Where sources disagree I present a range rather than picking the most flattering number. I do not publish invented statistics, and I do not present one freelancer's experience as an industry average.
Currency
Rate benchmarks in freelance rates are reviewed quarterly. Platform fees in freelancing platforms are re-verified quarterly, because they change frequently. All other guides are reviewed at least twice a year, and the review date appears on every page.
Independence and affiliate links
Some outbound links to tools and platforms earn a commission. This has no bearing on whether a product is recommended or how it is described. I routinely include free tools that pay nothing, and I say plainly when a platform's fees or terms are unfavourable. No company can pay to be included, excluded, or described differently.
What I will not publish
Guaranteed income claims of any kind. "Passive income" framing for work that is not passive. Advice that depends on misleading a client. Rankings determined by commission rate.
Corrections
Errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, and material corrections are noted on the page. If you find one, tell me.
